The 2012 Impreza 2.0i Sedan and Wagon are the "entry" models but they come loaded with equipment. They were entirely redesigned from the ground up for the 2012 model year....new engine, new transmission, new body, new features. They come standard with all wheel drive, seven airbags, tilt and telescoping steering wheel, vehicle dynamics control to prevent
skids, traction control, brake assist that automatically applies
maximum brake pressure in a panic stop, cd player, keyless entry, power windows, power locks,
power mirrors, air conditioning, and a ton more. The sedan and wagon vary only in that you get a hatch instead of a trunk. MSRP is $18,545 for the 2.0i Sedan with five speed manual transmission.

- Add $1,000 for the continuously variable automatic transmission.
MSRP is $19,845 for 2.0i Premium Sedan with five speed manual transmission.
- The Premium Package adds cruise control, Bluetooth, USB port with iPod control capability, auxiliary input jack, and upgraded audio, body color exterior mirrors, and audio/Bluetooth controls on the steering wheel.
- Add $500 for the All Weather Package which includes heated seats, mirrors, and wipers.
- Add $1000 for power moonroof.
MSRP is $21,895 for the Limited Sedan with continuously variable automatic transmission
- The Limited package adds leather-trimmed upholstery, steering wheel, and shifter handle. Automatic transmission and All Weather Package are standard. Audio upgrade features a 4.3 inch display, HD radio, and iTunes tagging capability. Other features include auto climate control, rear seat armrest, auto on/off headlights, 17 inch alloys, chrome door handles, fog lights, and chrome grill accents.

The 2012 Impreza 2.0i Sport is an Impreza 2.0i Wagon on steroids. It comes with all the standard equipment listed above for the entry level Impreza, plus 17 inch gunmetal grey alloy wheels, roof rails, body color rocker spoiler, unique sport fabric, fog lights, and All Weather Package which includes heated seats/wipers/mirrors. It has the Premium package (described above) standard.

The 2012 Impreza STi is available a sedan or a wagon. There are significant changes compared to prior models including stiffer spring rates and rear subframe bushings, larger sway bars, and front pillow ball mounts, and upgraded six speaker audio with bluetooth. The all weather package (which includes heated seats, mirrors, and wipers) are standard on all STi models.
