With the exception of the first picture taken from the roof of a nearby building, the aerial pictures were taken with a Canon EOS camera at an altitude of approximately 1000 feet from the fixed wing aircraft pictured above on August 2, 2010. 

We tried to find a less expensive way to capture the images but the facility is too big!  One of the largest Subaru facilities in the world, Planet Subaru is over ten acres and over 300 vehicles.   The building itself is over a half acre.

The large forested area you see toward the rear of the property is part of our nature preserve. 
You can also see the river rock that we use on the roof to reduce thermal loads, part of our efforts to shrink our environmental footprint that have won many awards, including one from the United States Environmental Protection Agency.  To learn more about Planet's environmental achievements, click here.
